MIMOSA, FORGET ME NOT

Mimosa…
Forget Me Not…

Gently tread… softly whisper…
Let fears subside…
and benevolent angels abide.

Mimi

The Bottle-Fed Survivor

The First Cats Hope™ Mascot

Mimi’s life began in the most fragile of circumstances. She was found alone in a parking lot when she was barely a day old, with the small remnant of her umbilical cord still attached. At that age, a kitten cannot see, cannot walk, and cannot survive without constant care. She should not have lived.

A Life That Needed Human Hands

Mimi was brought into care at a time when survival depended entirely on human intervention. She was bottle-fed around the clock, as newborn kittens must be fed every few hours. Without a mother, even the most basic bodily functions had to be supported — after each feeding, she required manual stimulation to help her urinate and defecate.

This level of care is not occasional. It is constant. It is precise. And it determines whether a life continues — or ends. Through patience, discipline, and daily routine, Mimi survived those critical early weeks. What began as an emergency rescue slowly became a life shared.

Personality

Mimi is deeply affectionate and emotionally attuned. She responds quickly to changes in her environment — especially human emotion. When voices are raised or distress is sensed, she will run toward her caregiver, as if asking what has happened. Her bond is not casual. It is attentive, responsive, and present.

Catitude

Mimi does not simply exist in a space — she responds to it. She moves toward emotion, not away from it. Raised voices, sudden changes, or moments of distress draw her in rather than push her back. Where other cats retreat, Mimi approaches. She does not observe from a distance.
She participates.

Appearance

Mimi is an extreme wedge flame-point Siamese. She has soft salmon-pink shading in her points, fine delicate features, and deep blue-violet eyes that reflect a red glow in low light. Her structure is elegant and refined, characteristic of traditional Siamese lineage.

Role in Cats Hope™

Mimi represents the beginning. Her life reflects what it means to intervene early — when survival is uncertain and the outcome depends entirely on care. She is the first of the Cats Hope™ mascots not because she was the strongest, but because she required the most from the very start.

Current Life

Now about eight years old, Mimi lives within the Cats Hope™ household as a living Mascot and companion. She remains one of its most emotionally bonded companions — a quiet presence shaped by a beginning that could easily have been lost.

🐾🐾 Every life that survives begins with someone who chose not to look away.

Mimi (Mimosa)

She speaks in soft syllables—
“Mi… Mi…”—as though calling
from a place not fully healed.

Found abandoned in a carpark
on her very first day,
Mimi carries a quiet memory of loss.

She startles easily,
dreams deeply,
and sometimes wakes
from shadows we cannot see.

Yet she is gentle.
She stays close.
And she still chooses to trust.

Mimi is not just a cat to be
loved—she is a soul…
to be handled with care.
